Digital X-rays
Dental X-rays are important part of your regular dental visits. They are necessary to help diagnose problems not visible to the naked eye. Some patients are concerned about the amount of exposure to radiation. Our digital x-ray equipment exposes patients to much less radiation than conventional dental x-rays, about 90% less. Digital x-rays may also mean shorter dental visits. Traditional methods made patients wait until the film was developed but digital radiography, the sensor develops the picture and displays it on the computer screen almost instantaneously. Once on the computer screen, digital x-rays can be enlarged, and the brightness and contrast can be adjusted for a better visual of the tooth and to detect small cavities.
